About the artist
Spirituality, sexuality, creativity – they are so intimately entwined as to be inseparable. Art making has played a hugely important part of my journey through life, faith and self understanding particularly as I work through the issues of faith and sexuality. My spirituality is based in Christian mysticism, prayer and meditation with influences from Zen Buddhism. The Spirit gives life – and leads us to live life to the full, be the person we were created to be with joy and confidence and without shame. The journey is life affirming as we recognise the imago dei - the image of God - in every human being and the beauty that that engenders.
I have an MA in theology and am currently training to be an art therapist
